Literacy – we continued the letter a and started the letter t
Numeracy – continued number 7 and some stated number 4.
Topic – finished the astronaut craft and talked about our world. This Friday I am organizing a cooking day for the children where we will be cooking different food from around the world. We have children in class coming from different countries – malta, gozo, romania, sudan, etiopia, italy, russia, sweden….and so we are preparing some food representing these countries. I will send you a note to send some ingredients for Friday.
The food which we will be preparing is the following:
Malta and Gozo – hobz biz- zejt, gbejniet and zebbug
Italy – pizza and pasta
Sweden – I need Marco’s help in this area maybe we can do some sweets
Etiopia – rice
Russia, Sudan and Romania – I will need help from the parents to tell me about particular food representing these countries.

What a great idea. The chocolate balls that you got in the “cookie jar” in Xmas is something easy and we do it often for parties in Sweden. What do you think of that as something Swedish?
Marco is missing you all, hopefully he will come tomorrow, depending on how his asthma is tonight.
Btw thank you for updates on schoolwork, like this we have had our own school at home today and counted and listened to rhymes
Have a nice evening
Jessica
Hi,
I forgot to tell you when you came for Marco. He was eager to record his voice when he saw Emma and Ben. He asked for it and he wanted to do it. That was a very good sign that he feels comfortable speaking out load in front of his peers
Good weekend!!
